New aicraft shipment improve for the first half of 2013

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has published the report of general aviation industry shipment and billings data through the second quarter of 2013. Most catagories of aircraft showed improved shipments of new aircraft of for the first half of 2013 compared to 2012.
Piston Airplanes increased +16.1%
Single-Engine Turboprops increased +3.8%
Multi-Engine Turboprops increased +70.6%
Business Jets decreased -4.1%
Total Airplane Shipments increased to 1014 up +8.9%
Total Airplane Billings totaled $10.4B an increase of +26.4%
