Small plane crash in Flint

A small plane recently crashed at Flint's Bishop International Airport in Michigan. The Avantair Piaggio Avanti P-180 was en route from Detroit to West Bend, Wisconsin, when the flight was declared an emergency and redirected to Flint. The two passengers and two crew members on board the plane are safe and unharmed.
Chief Christopher Miller from the Bishop International Airport Authority said the plane attempted an emergency landing.
The plane touched down on runway 1836," said Miller. "Upon arrival, he veered to the right, flipped over once. We had people inside. We immediately started response. There was no fire, no flames to put out so at that point, after we assessed that, we went in and started our emergency rescue."
When rescue crews arrived at the site, the plane was upside down so they had to pry open the door. Four people were found upside down in their seats, all of whom sustained minor injuries, the source reported.
