Aviation conference set to focus on passenger satisfaction

January 5, 2012, 05:09 pm

The Hamburg Aviation Conference 2012 is scheduled for February and plans to focus on improving passenger satisfaction through the adoption of the customer viewpoint through operational and functional processes in the aviation industry.

The global conference will discuss the economic factors affecting the aviation industry, and how various markets are coping with the associated challenges. As customer expectations continue to rise, the industry must elevate its standards and improve the value of its customer experience.

"Our industry is increasingly subject to the conflicting demands of efficiency - often only achieveable by standardization - and the distinct requirements of individual customers," said Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO of the Hamburg Airport.

In addition, the government of Canada is taking steps to streamline aviation security regulations to reflect the current aviation security environment seen around the world. The goal of streamlining the regulations is to make security procedures more user-friendly and efficient, while maintaining an exceptional level of security to protect passengers. The changes to security include improvements in policy direction, defined security roles and management of sensitive aviation security information.
