Private jet companies expanding services

April 20, 2012, 07:54 am

Elite Aviation global jet company recently entered a joint venture with STAjets to expand its fleet and consumer reach in the United States. The partnership grants Elite Aviation more planes to work with as well as access to Orange County and Northern San Diego County clientele with a second base of operations.

The agreement provides benefits for both companies, and is seen as a first step to establishing a long-term relationship and collaboration. Elite Aviation will have access to STAjets' fleet of mid to light jets and turboprops, as well as use of the STAjet facility at John Wayne Airport. STAjets is one of the first companies in the world to offer certain types of global jets on a charter management certificate.

Elite Aviation serves high-net worth clientele and corporate executives with a complete luxury experience in the air and on the ground. STAjets specializes in executive charter, aircraft management and sales and acquisitions. STAjets leverages a diverse fleet of superior aircraft and flight crews to provide a travel experience above the quality level of competitors. The joint venture will allow each party to benefit from the strengths and resources of the other to create a more dominant jet provider team.

"The joint venture with Elite Aviation opens up the world for STAjets, bringing us the ability to leverage Elite Aviation's global footprint and provide international presence for STAjets," said Kurt Belcher, president, STAjets. "STAjets will also gain access to Elite Aviation's larger aircraft, allowing us to offer increased passenger loads and longer flights."

In an interview with Live Trading News, Clayton Smith, senior charter sales representative for an aviation company, listed some tips for travelers flying on a private jet to enjoy their experience.

Smith said it is important for consumers to plan ahead. As the presence of private jet providers is increasing all over the world, there is still a steady demand for enterprise aviation services and pilots can book up fast.

For busy pilots, pilot insurance is a must have safety precaution.

It is also important that customers tell jet providers all of their desires and requirements for the trip. Most private jet providers will exhaust all resources to provide a luxurious and fulfilling experience for their travelers. Travelers will not know all that is available to them through a private jet provider until they ask, Live Trading News reported.
