AOPA names Aero-Space Reports strategic partner

November 26, 2012, 01:57 pm

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association recently signed an agreement with Aero-Space Reports, making the aircraft title and escrow service company a strategic partner.

The new collaboration between the Oklahoma City-based company is the third Strategic Partner named by the AOPA. The other two AOPA partners include Enterprise Holdings - which includes Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car - and Aircraft Spruce & Specialty.

“The outstanding customer service that Aero-Space Reports delivers throughout an aircraft purchase process is exactly the type of experience we want to make more affordable for our members,” said Ed Thompson, AOPA vice president of corporate partnerships. “We are very excited about the new benefits that this partnership provides for our nearly 400,000 members.”

Aero-Space Reports, along with both Enterprise Holdings and Aircraft Spruce & Specialty, is a family owned business that has been involved in aviation for years. Aero-Space Reports was started by Neal Snowden Sr. and his wife, Polly, in 1969. Neal Snowden Jr. and his wife, Vicki, have built the company up to where it is now, remaining one of the most respected title and escrow services in the aviation industry.

AOPA members are offered a special rate for bundled services and Aero-Space Reports will be supporting AOPA events and initiatives.

“Aero-Space Reports could not be more excited about partnering with AOPA, an organization that clearly shares the same core values we strive to practice,” said Neal Snowden, president of Aero-Space Reports. “We understand aircraft purchases can be stressful, and AOPA members need and deserve a company they can trust. With a title search turnaround time of four hours, and never a charge for rush service, we feel confident Aero-Space Reports is the right company for the job.”

The AOPA also recently announced that it has released the latest addition of its popular FlyQ application for electronic devices.

The FlyQ Electronic Flight Bag for the iPad includes pre- and in-flight planning tools, as well as airport directory information, aviation weather and flight planning. The app is free for AOPA members and provides information on more than 5,300 public-use facilities, 7,000 fixed-based operations and aviation-related businesses, and more than 55,000 restaurants, attractions and transportation services.

With partnerships improving services to pilots in the general aviation community and technologies streamlining efficiency while in the air, pilots are reminded to take hold of their own finances. Pilot life insurance is available to ensure the financial future of loved ones in the unlikely event of an emergency.
